My mother in law went through a recent renovation, changing up her floors, paint and baseboards. After this was complete she decided to tackle a huge DIY project, painting her oak kitchen cupboards. Like myself she had always dreamed of a white kitchen and went for it. She FaceTimed me in a panic (lives three hours away) and after painting one side of her island, hated it. I did some research and picked a color for her. Based off her new wall color, new flooring and countertop I suggested going with Kingsport Gray from Benjamin Moore.
She found the secret to painting the cupboards was using the primer called Stix. No sanding required.
